He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Jackson Philips Sr. and Idalene Parham Estridge. He is survived by: his wife Anita B. Philips; his children, Jay Philips, Jessica Frye and Josh Frye (Karen); and his grandchildren, Tate, Keiley and Keira.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to a charity of one's choice.
