He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ray and Geneva Parrish Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean; his children, George Lewis (Roberta Chin) of Oak Ridge, TN and Robin Cranfill (Bruce Cranfill) of Raleigh, NC; his grandsons, Paul Cranfill of Durango, CO and Ben Cranfill of Suffolk, VA.; and his sister Ruth Gettys of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a private graveside service, due to covid concerns.
