He is survived by: his wife Christine "Tine" Boatwright; his children, Timothy Boatwright (Renee), Jeremy Caudle (Beth) and Amanda Strickland (A. J.); and his brothers, Billy Boatwright (Nova), Johnny Boatwright (Mary) and J. P. Boatwright (Wanda). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and one soon-to-be great grandson.
