It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Williams Mize (Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina), born in Athens, Georgia, who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Spurgeon Williams (Spud) and Alma Inez Williams; her husband Robert Laten "Billy" Mize; her brother Garry Ray Williams; and her sons-in-law, Mark Allen Hipp and Bruce Dale Shaw.
She is survived by: her daughter Melanie Mize Hipp; her grandsons, Brandon Matthew (Jennifer) and Daniel Adam Shaw (Whitney); and her great grandchildren, Bowen Robert, Conway Benjamin, Patrick Boone and Hadley Dene Shaw. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
