Barnes Jr. (Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina), born in Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Barnes and Margie Barnes of Batesburg-Leesville; his siblings, Sherry (McMeekin) and Steve Barnes, Sr.; his sister-in-law Novell Barnes; his nephew Steve Barnes, Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Aaron McKenzie and Willene Varnadoe.
He is survived by: his wife Susan V. Barnes; his children, Travis, Eric, Deidre, Shawn Hutchins and Jennifer Silver (Justin); his sister Gale Gantt (David); and his siblings-in-law, Ronny Varnadoe (Melinda), Carroll Varnadoe (Irene) and Janice Phipps (Mark).
