It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luanne Watson Edwards (Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina), born in Batesburg, South Carolina, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bates and Annie Louise Shealy Watson; and her husband James Albert "Ed" Edwards. She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Bates Mobley of Rock Hill, SC, Marsha E. Wiggins of Charlotte, NC, Jane E. Keegan (Ken) of Cary, NC and Mary Ann Smith of Columbia, SC; and her sister Sarah Watson of Leesville, SC.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
