He is survived by: his children, Sharon Adams of Batesburg-Leesville, Wendy Johnson of Batesburg-Leesville, Delores Dennis of Batesburg-Leesville, Ray Thomas of New Mexico and Daniel Dennis of South Congaree; his grandchildren, Bryanna Toole of Batesburg-Leesville, Tylai of Batesburg-Leesville, Tycaria of Batesburg-Leesville and Dion Dennis of Batesburg-Leesville; his sisters, Mary Lou Wise of Batesburg-Leesville, Martha Smith of Batesburg-Leesville, Lillian Davenport of Batesburg-Leesville and Betty Jean Medlin of Dillon; his siblings-in-law, Evanise Johnson, Deloris Johnson and Odell Whitt; and his close friend Lilly Vandyke. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
