We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2023, James B. Freeman Jr. (Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina), born in Columbia, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Freeman Sr. and Gladys Carolyn Crider Freeman. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Freeman; his children, Tara Beard (Tim) and Preston Wessinger; his siblings, Kenneth Lee Freeman and Kim Lovell (Buddy); his grandchildren, T. J., Travis and Taylar Beard; and his nephew Matthew Lovell (Sara). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pomaria Fire and Rescue, Attn: Barry Richardson, 241 Holloway Street, Pomaria SC 29126.
