She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Mae "Mamie" Harris Smith and Emitt Smith; her husband Benson A. Long; her daughter Georgina Smith Foulks; and her brothers, John Henry, Thomas, Willie James, Emitt Jr., Roosevelt and Leroy Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Lindsay (Kelvin) of Batesburg-Leesville, Shirley Wise (Danny) of Lexington and Debbie Crews (Charles) of Charlotte; her siblings, Mary Hair, Carl Smith (Shirley) of Manhattan, James Smith (Judy) of Monetta and Joseph Smith (Liz) of Tacoma, Washington; her grandchildren, Corey Wise (Amber), Kristina Lorick (Mike), Kym Smith, Bree Wise, Malik Haltiwanger and Zachary Haltiwanger; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Lorick of Corey, Gianni Gist and Jagger Lorick. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
