He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Irvin and Elizabeth Guyer Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Lenette Rodgers Thompson; his son Travis Smith; his siblings, Chris Thompson of Osceola, IA and Lisa T. Miller (Mel) of Osceola, IA; his brother-in-law Robert Rodgers (Tonya); and his niece Anna Joyce Rodgers.
