He is survived by: his children, Debbie Powell Shelton (Riley) of Hartwell, GA, Rodney Powell (Mel) of Kline, SC and Dianne Powell Bell (Chuck) of Williston; his grandson George Morris of Barnwell, SC; his brothers, Wayne Powell of New Ellenton, SC and Austin Powell of Central, SC; his grandchildren, Matthew Bell (Jennifer) of Williston, SC, Casey Bell Herring (Brian) of Edisto Beach, SC, Joshua Powell (Katie) of Irmo, SC, Aaron Powell of Clemson, SC, Heath Shelton (Elizabeth) of Savannah, GA, Heather Shelton of Savanah, GA, Holly Shelton Clements (Brian) of Savannah, GA and Puii Bijang of Northeast India; and his great grandchildren, Kylie, Matti, Isla, Julian, Handley, Hollin and Max. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
