He is survived by: his mother Betty Hammett Sargent Bannister; his sister Bethany Baptist Church; his wife Katherine "Kathy" McElmurray Sargent; his daughter Hannah S. Kitchings (Joey); his grandchildren, Rowen and Kallie Kitchings; his siblings, Tonya Carroll (Marty) of Barnwell, SC and Trevor Bannister (Amanda) of Beaufort; his stepfather William W. Bannister; his brothers-in-law, Mike McElmurray and Danny McElmurray (Jeffrey Hamilton); his nieces and nephews, Ty Carroll (Ashley), McCrae Carroll, Draven Bannister, Jasmine Bannister, Megan Hampton and Lisa Wilkie (Doug); and his friend Ben Johnson, Jr.. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
