He is survived by: his wife Tammie Hiers; his daughter Amanda Marie Pearl Hiers of Columbia, SC; his siblings, Audrey Sanders (Norman) of Barnwell, SC and Marty Ballard (Sam) of Pelion, SC; his uncle Arthur; his aunt Annette Hiers of Blackville, SC; his cousins, Doug Hiers (Melissa) of Blackville, SC and Chuck Hiers (Sonya) of Barnwell; his siblings-in-law, Gordon, Tammy Turner of Sandy Run, SC and Ken Turner of Sandy Run, SC; and his mother-in-law Bessie Hooker of Blackville, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
