She was predeceased by: her parents, Leeman Brooks and Mary Lou Whetstone; and her brothers, Ernest Brooks, Robert Emmet, Laurie Brooker and Franklin Delano Gibson.
She is survived by: her sister Frances Elizabeth Gibson Dyches of Pruitt Health. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
