It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Cook George (Barnwell, South Carolina), born in Cherryville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Cook and Dessie Cook; and her brothers, Joe Cook and Paul Cook. She is survived by: her husband Johnny George; her children, Scott (Debbye) of Charlotte, NC and Terri Winningham (Craig); and her grandchildren, Taylor George of Boilings Springs, SC, Grayson George of Charlotte, NC, John Winningham of Barnwell, SC and Claire Winningham of Charlotte, NC..

Family will receive friends immediately following the service, also asking that social distancing protocols be practiced during this time.
