It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joe Allen Dyches of Barnwell, South Carolina, who passed away on February 15, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Joe Allen Dyches to show support.

He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Kinard Dyches; his parents, John Harold Dyches (Brown) and Mamie Rosier Dyches; his siblings, Ruth Dyches Taylor, Gene H. Dyches and Ralph T. Dyches; and his son-in-law Robert D. Johnston, III.

He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Smith (Franklin) of Cincinnati, OH, Sherry Johnston of Roxboro, NC and John Dyches (Theresa) of Aiken, SC; and his grandchildren, Ariel Rivera (Diego) of Raleigh, NC, Gwendolyn Hickner (John) of Charlotte, NC, Lauren Dyches of Aiken, SC, Barrett Smith (Hannah Bush) of Cincinnati, OH, Ian Smith (Kelly Sears) of Denver, CO and Hagan Dyches of Aiken, SC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to the pandemic, the family requests that only immediate family and the "closest-of-friends" attend while practicing the social distancing guidelines that continue to affect all of our lives.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 8744 Marlboro Avenue, Barnwell, SC. 29812 or to the charity of one's choice.
