She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Cushman and Purnell Nancy Widener Cushman; and her sisters, Mary Cushman and Frances Lucille Cushman. She is survived by: her friend Peggy Still; her son Russell Wayne Wood of Gloverville, SC; her sister Belle Vaughan of Centre, AL; and her aunt Ruby Mae Hill. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
