It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald McDonald of Barnwell, South Carolina, who passed away on April 28, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald McDonald to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus McDonald and Hazel McDonald; and his brother Dale Sims. He is survived by: his wife Faye Padgett McDonald; his children, Delena Laird, Carrie Ann McDonald, Daniel Laird, Carla Tate and Wes McDonald (Carrie); his grandchildren, Blake Laird (Nichole), Andrew McDonald, Thomas Tate, Savannah Tate, Dallas Weathersbee, Micaela McDonald and Margot McDonald; his brother James Sims (Mary Ann); his sister-in-law Ramona Sims; and his pet Snazzy. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Due to the current pandemic and the CDC regulations, social distancing and other guidelines will be in place; facemasks are requested.
