He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Cecil and Marilynn Pixley Defrenn; his son Jason Garth DeFrenn; and his sister Vickie Qualls. He is survived by: his wife Naomi Moody DeFrenn; his daughters, Aleta DeFrenn Wood (Josh) of Greenville and Kimberly Mayhall (Donnie) of Fall Branch, TN; and his brother Bob DeFrenn (Shelby) of Gilbert. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
