He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Sullivan Williams and Leo G. Williams; his brothers, Leo C Williams and Richard J. Williams; and his granddaughter Addison V. Causey.

He is survived by: his wife Dianne K. Williams; his children, Dawn Waller (Tracy), Shaun Williams (Candace) and Victoria Causey (Alex); his grandchildren, Brittany Wilson (Richie), Nicholas Waller, Andrew Waller, Mattie Waller, Shaun Williams Jr., Wilson Williams, Cade Williams, Landon Causey, Liam Causey and Reed Causey; and his siblings, Daniel Williams, Elizabeth Price, Patricia Bryant and Angela Brewer.

Memorials may be made to the Olar First Baptist Church or the Columbia Ronald McDonald House.
