He was predeceased by: his wife Sybil McAlister Ethridge; his parents, Charles A. Ethridge and Amy Elrod Ethridge; his daughter Karen E. Holliday; and his brother Charles Robert Ethridge.
He is survived by: his son Roy A. Ethridge, Jr. (Jane); and his grandsons, Matthew W. Holliday (Shayna), Timothy Mark Holliday (Rachel), Christopher Holliday (Daynah), Artie Ethridge (Mandy) and Evan Ethridge.
