Martin Sr. of Aiken, South Carolina, born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on November 17, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Martin and Jessie Mae Sanford Martin; his siblings, Wayman Martin and Thelma Fulmer; and his brother-in-law Bruce Jerningan.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Toole Martin; his children, Bill Martin (Debbie), Robbie Martin (Sarah), Ann Robinson (Kevin) and Christy Bodiford (Jamie) of Mountain City, TN; his siblings, Kenneth Martin (Ruth) and Jeanette Jernigan; his brother-in-law Marshall Fulmer; and his grandchildren, Trey Martin, Daniel Martin, Derek Martin, Joseph Martin, Ariel Kellar, Hannah Shirah, Hunter Bodiford, Megan Groover, Brianna Bodiford and Michael Vance. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Montmorenci P.O. Box 77 Montmorenci, SC 29839.
