He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ross Smith; his children, Karen Coghill (Tim) of Mountain Brook, AL, Kevin Smith (Marie) of North Augusta, SC and Kelli Johnson (Ricky) of Lumberton, NC; his grandchildren, Kimberly Coghill (Bryan), Matthew Coghill (Paige), Griffin Coghill (Kristin), Travis Smith (Erica), Katie McCaskill (Mason), Andrew Smith (Amber), Allie Smith, Madison Allen, Lynsey Hoppes (Peyton) and Erin Johnson; and his siblings, Geraldine Stachewicz, Patricia Puckett, John Smith, Barbara Jones, Judy Barton and Richard Smith (Gale).
