He is survived by: his wife Bette; his daughters, Cindy Rumbaugh (Max) of Canton, MI, Susan Halferty (Matt) of Vail, AZ and Sally Simon of Carmel, IN; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Chase, Grace, Stone, Jack and Emma; his stepchildren, Cheryl Shafer (Greg) and Kevin Krohn (Rachel); and his stepgrandchildren, Rick, Tara and Konnor.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. John's United Methodist Church, 104 Newberry St NW, Aiken, SC 29801.
