He was predeceased by: his parents, James Royce and Ruther Whitlock Bouknight; and his sisters, Martha Alder and Phyllis Kern. He is survived by: his wife Debby; his children, Sue Jacobs (Jake) of Cheshire, CT, Blake Lawrence Bouknight of Sarasota, FL and Chase Forest Bouknight (Amberlyn); his grandchildren, Alexandra Czarkosky, Rozalynn Ann Bouknight and Aidyn Lewis Bouknight; and his sisters, Kathryn Shealy of Newberry, SC and Mary Cadle of Sarasota, FL..
Jimmy also served as an Animal Control Officer in Aiken, being awarded the SPCA's first annual award for outstanding contributions to the humane treatment of animals.
