He was predeceased by: his sister Medora F. Abbott; and his wife Patricia Tan of Columbus, Ohio.. He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth Abbott (Youngs); his brother-in-law Steve Youngs; his brother Robert Abbott; his sister-in-law Sandra Abbott; and his nephews, Jackson Youngs and Jacob Abbott.
