Betty New Hale Lewis Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma Mundy and John New; her former husband Kenneth "Sandy" Hale, Jr.; her husband George D. Lewis, Sr.; her son Keith Hale; her son-in-law Richard D. Hazen; and her siblings, Charlie W. New, Eunice Newman, Ann Davis, Phillip New and Azilee Brooks Jackson.

She is survived by: her children, Darlene Hale Glenn (Kirk) of Atlanta, GA, Craig Hale (Cynthia) of Aiken, SC, David Lewis (Carla) of Summerfield, FL, Terry Lewis (Vivian) of Summerfield, FL and Kathy Hazen of Summerfield, FL; her grandchildren, Worth Glenn, Kenna Hale Conner (Cameron), Donovan Hale, Samantha Hale, Chris Lewis, Robert "Chad" Lewis (Lara), Tonya Shott, Patrick Lewis (Jamie), Drake Hazen, Frazier Hazen and Walker Hazen; her great grandchildren, Ava Conner, Taylor Beecher (Nick), Erin Shott, Hunter Satcher, Lizzie Lewis, Hayden Lewis, Connor Lewis, Evan Guevara, Kahley Guevara and Mason Lewis; her great great grandchildren, Cooper and Caden Beecher; and her sister Jean McNulty. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Considering Miss Betty's love for animals and her church, it was her request that memorials in her memory be made to the Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare, (http://www.letlovelive.org) or Levels Baptist Church. (http://www.levelsbaptistchurch.org) The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Aiken Regional Medical Center's ICU and PCU, and Anchor Post Acute for the care given to "Cutie Girl".
