She was predeceased by: her husband Lucian Martin Britt; her father Frederick Herron; her siblings, Collins, Elijah, Burts, Owen, Heber, Robert, Dorothy and Myrtis; and her grandsons, Christopher, Gregory and Dean.
She is survived by: her mother Elizabeth Herron; her children, Terry Martin Britt (Theresa), Dean Legrand Britt (Mary Helen), Lisa Marlene Burns (Jimmy Kiles) and Sandra Marie New (Tommy Hinson); her sisters, Lottie Snipes and Mary Ann Lynes; and her grandchildren, Tony, Michael, Matthew, Pheraby, Patricia Caroline, Anna and Tabatha. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in Barbara's memory be made to The American Heart Association.
