Rita McClanahan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita McClanahan of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, born in Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 6, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Malenfant and Mildred Malenfant (Taylor); her daughter Jeannette Fontaine (Malenfant); and her siblings, Gladys Yagnesak, Lucy Leclerc, Joan Arnold, Edward Malenfant, Lillian Sinko, Alfred Malenfant and Charles Malenfant.

She is survived by: her son Michael Malenfant (Sunie); her grandsons, Raymond M. Fontaine (Stephanie) and Jeremy Fontaine (Agnieszka); and her great grandchildren, Julia, Layla, Gabriella, Sophia, Rayden, Thomas and Raymond. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
