We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2022, at the age of 82, John Edward Mendes of Warren, Rhode Island, born in Fall River, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Mendes and Adeline Mendes (Pacheco); and his siblings, Manuel, Mary (Alves), Joseph, Adeline (Kinney) and Ferdinand.

He is survived by: his wife Theresa Mendes (Jennings); his daughter Tina Hyllested (Carl); and his granddaughters, Madison and Lillian.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Warren Rescue, 1 Joyce St. Warren, RI are greatly appreciated.
