He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Beth Alison Chappell Pavao; his child Jody A. Weinreich; his grandchildren, Madison Dale and Christopher John Weinreich; his siblings, Sally Johanson, William and Jimmy McEneaney; and his parents, John Pavao and Sally Agnew Pavao. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
