He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sarah Zawatsky and Julius Zawatsky of Providence, RI; his wife Hope Pritsker Zawatsky; his sons, Jay, Paul and Marc; and his sister Leona Spilka. He was also cherished by eight grandsons, two granddaughters and three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Congregation Beth David at 102 Kingston Road in Narragansett Rhode Island.
