He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Hartmann and Alicia Hartmann (Serrano); and his brothers, Peter, Robert and Richard Hartmann.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen V. Hartmann (Guertin); his sons, John P. Hartmann (Christine) of Coventry and Robert A. Hartmann (Joseph Malena) of Hope Valley; his grandchildren, Jessica Kirtlink, Nathan Brown, Michele Yarce and Nicole Hartmann; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Milana and Marcelo; and his siblings, Gloria Wright, Judith Hill, Barbara Avella, William, Nellie, Mary, Alice and Deborah Hartmann.
