She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Forbes, Jr.; her parents, Armand Beatrice and Alice Beatrice (Motroni); her son James L. Forbes, III; and her brother Joseph Beatrice.

She is survived by: her sons, Paul Forbes of Rockville and Kevin Forbes of Narragansett; her grandchildren, Patrick J. Forbes (Rebecca), Amy E. Forbes, Sean P. Forbes and John J. Forbes (Kate); her great grandchildren, Cadence, James and Brooke Forbes; her sisters-in-law, Carol Beatrice and Alice Ellison; her daughter-in-law Julie DeMerchant; and her sisters, Dorothy Riley and Mary LaMarque.
