With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvaro M. Sousa (Wakefield, Rhode Island), born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 19, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvaro Sousa Sr. and Laurinda Sousa (Morgan); his wife Phyllis Gosselin Sousa; and his siblings, Richard Sousa, Maria Pereira Sousa and Joseph Sousa.
He is survived by: his sibling Portuguese; his father-in-law Ray Gosselin; his sister Mildred Sousa Rossi; his children, Alyson Sousa Larrabee (Raymond Larrabee), Alan Sousa (Kathleen Verhoest Sousa), Laurinda Sousa Russo and Amy Sousa Curtis (Cliff Curtis); his grandchildren, Jillian Langley, Joseph Larrabee, Alan Sousa Jr., Megan Larrabee Brack, Nicholas Sousa, Anne Larrabee and Matthew Sousa; his great grandchildren, Esther McKeever and Torin McKeever; and also, Maria and Manuel Morgan.
