Richard Soltysiak Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Soltysiak (South Kingstown, Rhode Island), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 26, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Soltysiak and Rita Soltysiak (Flynn). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Gaudio); his children, Nicholas (Samantha) of Michigan and Rachel; his grandchildren, Anastasia and Jonah; his pets, Chewy and Scarlett; his sisters, Jean Soltysiak of Warwick and Carol DeTroia (James) of Warwick; and his mother-in-law Marie Gaudio of Cranston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many cousins and in-laws.
Though Rick was proud of his flower gardens, his family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Crossroads Rhode Island, Continuum Hospice, or the Rhode Island Food Bank.
