It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha J. McElkenny (South Kingstown, Rhode Island), who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James McKeon and Mary Conlon McKeon of Tenafly, NJ.; her brothers, James McKeon, Robert McKeon and David McKeon; her husband John J. McElkenny of Charlestown; her children, Heather Cohen (David) of Charlton, MA, John P. McElkenny (Deborah) of Charlestown, RI, Erin Manni (Matthew) of Charlestown, RI and Michael McElkenny (Kate) of Ridgefield, N. J.; her grandson Peter McElkenny of Oakland, NJ.; and her sister Parish. She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, 1 ½ great grandchildren, and her beloved dog.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Covenant House, N.Y., Times Square Station, P.O. Box 731 New York, NY 10108-0900, an organization that Martha felt strongly about.
