She was predeceased by: her husband Donald C. Shemick; her parents, Warren J. Howard and Dorothy B. Howard (Arndt); her sisters, Barbara Hannah, Margaret Stone, Virginia Carter and Gladys Fanning; and her son Ronald Shemick.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Shemick (Lynn Shemick) of Foster and Donna Geffre of Scituate; and her grandsons, Raymond Geffre (Luisa Ocampo), Andrew Shemick and Tyler Shemick.
