She was predeceased by: her siblings, Tuazama Biah and Neanman Gorwoh Biah; and her son Ralph T. Carto. She is survived by: her siblings, Elizabeth Y. Mayu, Solomon Biah and Michael Macarthy; her children, Samuel Cooper, Minah Carto, Cornelious Carto and Mame Carto-Dinuwelle; and her grandchildren, Peterson Carto of Karley, Prince Freeman, Karowuf Carto, Loucresia Peah, Shamor Cooper, Samelia Cooper, Christopher Sumo, Darvin Dinuwelle, Daryle Dinuwelle, Edrick Carto and Nunwon Biah. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Keefe Funeral Home (5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI 02865). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (747 Broad St, Providence, RI 02907).
