He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Erskine and Mary Erskine (Gough); his brothers, Edward Erskine, Charles Erskine and Donald Smith; and his nephew Robert S. Yabroudy.

He is survived by: his siblings, Kathleen Randall, Eileen Erskine and John Erskine; and his sister-in-law Jane Erskine.
