He is survived by: his wife Maria Leonor Cardoso (Cordeiro); his children, Ricardo J. Cardoso (Valerie) and Marina C. Cardoso of Pawtucket; his grandsons, Ian Cardoso of Rehoboth and Evan Cardoso of Rehoboth; his brother Paulo Cardoso (Ana Maria) of Portugal; his brothers-in-law, Luciano Leonel Cordeiro (Rahyra) of Portugal and Manuel Martins of Portugal; his nephews, Mark Martins of Dublin and Rui Cardoso of Portugal; and his niece Susana Cordeiro Inacio of Portugal.
