He was predeceased by: his parent Julian Petrangelo; and his sibling Dino. He is survived by: his spouse Claire E. Petrangelo (Lemerick); his parent Mary Petrangelo (Fecente); his children, Ernest J. Petrangelo Jr. of West Warwick and Barbara Colozzo of Pascoag; and his siblings, Adeline DeCarlo, Yolanda Codiero of Providence, Susan Cambio of West Warwick, Anthony, Tommy, Louie Petrangelo, Tillie Petrangelo and Carmella Cantone.
