He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecelia King (Sandberg) and William King; his siblings, Barbara Gautieri (King) and Randy Sivigny; and his pets, Retrievers and Cloudy II.

He is survived by: his children, Jessica King of Cranston and Benjamin King of North Smithfield; the mother of his children Joann Shulver of Cranston; his siblings, Kathy Fitzpatrick and James King; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
