With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marie Pauline Lambert of North Smithfield, Rhode Island, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marie Pauline left this world on February 26, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Lambert; her parents, Maurice Hamel and Marie Hamel (Prince); and her siblings, Lucille Mann, Claire Veilleux and Paul Hamel.
She is survived by: her brothers, Raymond Hamel of Blackstone, Joseph Hamel of Ohio and Arthur Hamel of Cumberland; and her caregiver Ronald J. Mann (Lynn) of Cumberland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Parish (1460 Diamond Hill Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
