He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Dexter (McLaughlin); and his parents, Arthur "Pete" Dexter, Sr. and Helen Dexter (Proulx). He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Hurteau (Todd) of North Smithfield, Sarah Bennett (Neil) of Cranston and Rebecca Grintchenko (William) of North Attleboro, MA; his brother Paul Dexter (Marjorie) of St. Augustine, FL; and his grandchildren, Hailey, Thomas Hurteau, Megan, Molly Grintchenko and Angela Bennett.
