He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Tammaro and Inez Tammaro (Serrecchia); and his brother Frank. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Tammaro (Cicchitelli); and his children, Richard D. Tammaro, Jr. (Roseann) of Glocester, Lori A. Tammaro of North Scituate and Robert D. Tammaro of North Scituate. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Face masks and social distancing will be observed at all times.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Richard's name to Hope Health Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904, or to St. Joseph Church, PO Box 236, North Scituate, RI 02857.
