She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Melia (Bilodeau) and Edward F. Melia; her sister Jacqueline Salesses; and her husband Laurent Dion (Larry). She is survived by: her children, Patricia D. Stoddard (Charles) of Barrington, Paul L. Dion (Bernadette) of North Kingstown and Peter R. Dion (Potowomut) of Warwick; her grandchildren, Lauren S. Lawler (Daniel), Bethany N. Stoddard, Melia S. Dion, Laurent N. Dion II and Peter P. Seymour (Kendra); her great grandchildren, Liam and Ellis; her sister-in-law Esther Dion; her pets, Jazz and Musket; and her caregivers, Mary and Taylor. She is also survived by her youngest son's.
