Morriss of North Kingstown, Rhode Island, born in Queens, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2024 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Morriss and Ruth Morriss (Beffre). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Morriss (Cayouette); his children, Lindsay Cote (John) of Warwick, RI and James R. Morriss III of Warwick, RI; his brothers, Edward Morriss (Camille) of Charleston, SC and Richard Morriss of Warwick, RI.; and his pet Tucker.
