He was predeceased by: his wife Alice M. Leach (Sweeney); his parents, James "Milton" Leach and Mildred Leach (Slocum); his daughter Mary Lou Bergeron; and his siblings, Donald Leach, Mildred Johnson, Elizabeth Cassidy, Dorothy Corry and James M. Leach, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Lori Sarazin of South Attleboro, Donna Stomberg of West Greenwich and William R. Leach, Jr. of Largo, Florida; and his siblings, Mary Ann Soave of Smithfield and Robert Leach of Florida. He is also survived by seven grandsons; four great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
