It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nicholas Sollecito Jr. (Lincoln, Rhode Island), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 5, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicola Sollecito and Mary Sollecito (Tombello); his son Joseph Sollecito; his former spouses, Joseph Sollecito (Margaret) and Michael Sollecito (Muriel); and his son-in-law Steven Mernick.
He is survived by: his wife Ann L. Sollecito (Amodei); his children, Nicholas Sollecito, III (Gayle), Jo-Ann Mernick (Bill Natale) of North Providence, RI, Paul Sollecito of Lincoln, RI, Gerald Sollecito (Judy) of Glocester, RI and Robert Sollecito (Elaine) of Lincoln, RI; and his sister Stella Mainelli (Robert) of North Providence, RI. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Nick's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a time and date to be announced.
